1000 Islands tourism

The 1000 Islands region is a world-renowned tourist destination. In the summer, residents and tourists enjoy boating, fishing, sailing, camping, golfing, cycling, hiking and scuba diving, among many other exciting activities. Some people like painting or photographing the natural and wild beauty of the river.

In winter, the area quiets down, but there is still lots to do, including cross-country ski, snowmobile, hike, ice fish, ice boat, skate and play hockey. You can even enjoy downhill skiing just a short drive away.

The region also plays host to year-round festivals and events, like the 1000 Islands Wine and Food Festival, the Tall Ships Challenge and Brockville Ribfest.

Relocating
