Role of the Board of Directors
Brockville General is looking for exceptional leaders to join our volunteer Board of Directors.
Responsibilities include,
- Actively participate in a policy model of governance.
- Oversees hospital affairs in keeping with our strategic plan.
- Governs with an emphasis on stewardship, strategic leadership, commitment to obtaining stakeholder input, encouragement of diversity, and a clear distinction of Board and staff roles.
- Comprised of 9-12 elected Directors, fulfilling the responsibilities of a 3-year term (renewable to a maximum of 9 years).
Qualifications
Committed to excellence in governance, we welcome motivated and experienced individuals who have the skills, passion and vision to provide leadership.
Ideal candidates will have experience in,
- Healthcare administration or health policy.
- Financial expertise.
- Information management and information technology (IT).
