  • We offer you a competitive compensation package, including benefits, pension, and employee discount programs.
  • We believe in continual learning by offering educational funding, personal leaves for education, free in-service training, professional development, mentorship and leadership opportunities. We also offer a variety of professional courses available to staff and physicians for free or a small charge.
  • We have a 24/7 Learning Lab for staff and physicians to learn, develop, and practice their skills.
  • Our healthcare workers have access to a variety of 24/7 mental health supports. Real-time peer support is available through a staff support line and in-person counselling.
  • As a designated Rural Community Hospital, our Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses may be eligible for the Canada Student Loan Forgiveness Program. Please visit Canada website for details.
  • We acknowledge the amazing work of all of our people through our rewards and recognition program, excellent attendance recognition, and professional milestone celebrations.
  • We are proud of our peer-led Workplace Happiness Action Team (WHAT) who offer year-round wellness and fun-raising activities to celebrate and support our people, including staff BBQs, Team and Team Member of the Year awards, and more.

We are growing and investing to deliver the best experience

  • In 2020, Brockville General expanded by 22 new beds when we opened the Donald B. Green Tower. This also launched our multi-million dollar investment in modern tools and technologies to empower our healthcare providers to deliver the best patient care.
  • Our diagnostic services grew in 2024 with the introduction of our MRI service.
  • We are committed to making it easier for people to navigate the healthcare system by building off our long-standing community partnerships. We are a leading partner of the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Ontario Health Team.
  • Brockville General is committed to supporting our community's health. We work closely with our local municipal and health system partners to provide care in the best location.
  • We are investing in Lumeo, a regional health information system (Oracle Health), with our partners across southeastern Ontario.

A supportive and welcoming community

  • Imagine your life with a five-minute commute.
  • Through the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, over $20 million was raised in record time to open the Donald B. Green Tower. Together, we are also committed to investing $15 million, over the next 10 years, towards equipment and technologies for staff and physicians.
  • Thanks to the Brockville General Volunteer Association, our hospital experience (for patients and healthcare workers) is enhanced by hundreds of dedicated community volunteers.
  • Visit Brockville Tourism to learn more about area events and activities, including scuba diving, boating, historical sites, and more!
  • Discover the communities we serve across Leeds Grenville.
