Julie’s Community Updates: April 20, 2026

As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.

• This week, we celebrate our volunteers as part of National Volunteer Week. Because of our over 250 dedicated volunteers, our patients and their families feel supported from the moment they enter the hospital. Thank you for generously giving your time, talents, skills and heart to support community healthcare.
• April 22 is Administrative Professionals Day. Our incredible administrative professionals keep our hospital running smoothly. The great work done by these professionals help to support the high-quality healthcare we provide for our patients. Thank you to all our administrative professionals today and every day for all you do!
• On April 24, Brockville General is excited to participate in Mayor Wren’s Corporate Community Clean Up Challenge. We encourage all local businesses to participate to help keep our city beautiful!  
• Our Silver Elevators, located near our Gift Shop, are currently being renovated. The two elevator bays will be modernized over the next seven weeks; however at least one of the Silver Elevators will be available for public and staff use during the renovations.
