Julie’s Community Updates: August 14, 2026

As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.

• We recently welcomed Dr. Sandeep ‘Sonny’ Kohil as our new Chief Medical Information Officer. Dr. Kohli brings a wealth of experience a frontline physician with specialties in Internal Medicine and Critical Care, in helping to develop award-winning digital health technologies, contributing to International Space Station-related research, and advising organizations on the adoption of emerging technologies. We’re excited to have Dr Kohli join our team and you can read more about Dr Kohli on our website.

• People will see a new sign on the former Commonwealth Public School. In keeping with our other locations, the site will be named Pearl Street site. Our teams have added a new Brockville General sign on the building. At this time no services will be offered at the Pearl Street site; please stay tuned as we share our plans for the site in the future.
