As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.
- With summer in full swing, we remind our community to stay cool and hydrated during heat waves. During times of extreme heat, please consider the following,
- Consider cancelling or limiting outdoor outings.
- Transportation should be in air-conditioned vehicles, when possible.

- Be aware of the symptoms of heat stroke/heat exhaustion. Information can be found on the Southeast Public Health Unit’s website: Heat Alert - Southeast Public Health
- July 7 is Canadian Injury Prevention Day. Most of the injuries that occur in Canada are preventable. On July 7 we are reminded that together we can create a Canada free from serious injuries.
