Strike action at 25 Front Avenue West

Please be aware, staff at Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health, located at 25 Front Avenue West, are on strike. As a result, striking staff will be picketing in front of the entrance to the building’s parking lot.

Brockville General’s staff are not part of the strike and the outpatient mental health services we offer at 25 Front Avenue West will continue. Any patients attending an appointment at 25 Front Avenue should expect delays and plan accordingly.

As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.

Last week, our Board of Directors held our Annual Meeting of Members. During the meeting, Eleanor Newman was elected as Vice Chair for the next Board season. The Board acknowledged and thanked Bob Snelgrove who has completed his 9 years of service this year. And we welcomed four new Directors, Jennifer O’Reilly, Brianna Sudnik, Lisa Taylor, and Jeff Wiwchar.

During the meeting we unveiled our annual report video to the community. Along with patient stories, James Eastwood, Board Chair, Dr Greg Manning, Vice President and Chief of Staff, and myself highlight the past year of collaboration, progress, and thoughtful investment in patient care.
