Julie’s Community Updates: June 26, 2026

As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.

• As part of our Silver Elevator modernization project, renovations on one of the two Silver Elevators is complete and it has been certified for public use. Work is continuing on the second elevator and is expected to be back in service by mid-July.
• June 26 is International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. We stand together to raise awareness, support prevention, and promote a healthier, safer community. Together we can reduce stigma, support those affected, and emphasize the importance of prevention, education, and recovery.
• July 1 is Canada Day. As a reminder to our community, our outpatient services such as outpatient lab services, day surgery, clinics, and community programs will be closed for the holiday. Emergency and inpatient services remain open. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!
