Julie’s Community Updates: September 4, 2026

As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.

• On September 3, the annual Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament was held at the Brockville Country Club. This year’s tournament raised $341,423, which brings the lifetime total raised to over $6 million. Thank you to our generous community, the Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament planning committee, Brockville & District Hospital Foundation, and the many volunteers who made the day possible. Congratulations on another successful event!

• September 7 is Labour Day. As a reminder, outpatient services such as outpatient lab services, day surgery, clinics, and community programs will be closed for the holiday. Emergency and inpatient services remain open. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!
