Strike action at 25 Front Avenue West

Please be aware, staff at Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health, located at 25 Front Avenue West, are on strike. As a result, striking staff will be picketing in front of the entrance to the building’s parking lot.

Brockville General’s staff are not part of the strike and the outpatient mental health services we offer at 25 Front Avenue West will continue. Any patients attending an appointment at 25 Front Avenue should expect delays and plan accordingly.

If you need immediate medical attention, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Emergency Department.

Coming to Emergency

When coming to Emergency, keep in mind that our staff treat patients with the most serious health needs first. The Emergency Department does not treat anyone on a first-come, first-serve basis or based on how they arrived.

Staying for observation

Sometimes, you will need to stay for observation so we can make sure that the treatments you received are helping before we can discharge you from the hospital.
