Brockville General holds Annual Meeting of Members

An eighth consecutive year-end balanced budget was one of several highlights from the 2024-25 Annual Meeting of Members on June 26, 2025

“At Brockville General, we believe in providing a comprehensive range of services and world-class healthcare, right here in Leeds and Grenville,” said James Eastwood, Board Chair. “Thanks to its skilled and dedicated staff, Brockville General is well-positioned to continue to provide the care our community expects and deserves.”

In the hospital’s 2024-25 Annual Report to the Community video, Eastwood and Julie Caffin, President and CEO, highlighted the exceptionally busy year for Brockville General and thanked all staff, physicians, and volunteers for their continued dedication and support in achieving the many successes during the past year. 

The Annual Report video featured Hospital leadership highlighting just some of the many successes which included:

• The launch of a new regional health information system, Lumeo. This was done in partnership with the six Southeast hospitals.
• The success of Brockville General’s recruitment campaign and continued recruitment efforts to bring qualified and highly skilled healthcare professionals to the hospital.
• The collaboration of hospital teams, community partners, and patient advisors for Brockville General to become a recognized telestroke site.

In the accompanying quick facts, the Hospital noted the Emergency Department saw more than 28,000 visits, in addition there were 34,777 scheduled diagnostic imaging exams, 30,002 ambulatory visits, 4,245 acute care admissions, 311 births, and 9,033 surgical procedures.
