Brockville General Hospital offers a variety of diagnostic imaging tests and scans, which ensure that your health care team has the information they need to provide effective care.

Our diagnostic imaging tests and scans include:

• Bone Density Tests
• Cardiovascular Services
• CT Scans
• Echocardiogram
• General Radiology (X-Ray)
• Mammography and Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP)
• MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
• Ultrasound
  Brockville General has adopted the recommendation from Sonography Canada to no longer disclose fetal sex during prenatal ultrasounds. This information, if available based on baby’s positioning and ultrasound timing, will be provided to the referring physician or midwife to share with the pregnant person, if desired.

Your exam

• Cell phones, cameras, and video recording devices are not permitted in the exam rooms. We ask you please turn your phone off during your exam.
• To ensure we provide you with the best medical care, we reserve the right to limit guests in the exam room.
• Make sure to arrive 15 minutes before your test and check in at the registration desk the day of your appointment.

Getting your images and reports

A CD of your images and reports can be made available to you, free of charge. To request a CD, please speak with our Diagnostic Imaging team.

Additionally, Brockville General is pleased to offer a new electronic image sharing system called PocketHealth Patient Sharing. This platform allows you to access your imaging records at anytime, to share with anyone you choose through a simple online experience.

There are three options available, payable to PocketHealth, beginning at the time of enrolment which includes permanent access to all previous imaging as well as any new exams: Basic (free), Core ($29 per year), and Unlimited ($49 per year).
