Broader Public Sector Accountability Act
The Broader Public Sector Accountability Act (BPSAA), was introduced in 2010 to establish accountability standards for hospitals, local health integration networks and broader public sector organizations. The BPSAA requires every hospital, in compliance with the directive(s) issued by the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, to:
- Prepare reports on the hospital use of consultants
- Publicly post expense claim information
- Prepare compliance attestations
