Rehabilitation
Our healthcare teams provide expert rehabilitation services and instruction to help you recover and heal from all types of illnesses and injuries. We provide the tools you need to recover.
The length of time you spend with our rehabilitation program will depend on your unique health needs. If you are staying with us, our goal is to get you home quickly and instruct you on your next steps towards rehabilitation.
Surgery rehabilitation
When preparing for surgery, we may ask you to attend a pre-operative admission clinic for information and instructions. During this visit, we'll take you through important information about your recovery and rehabilitation. If you have any surgery rehabilitation questions, please ask a member of your healthcare team.
Total joint replacements
If you are scheduled for total joint replacements, you will need to attend an educational physiotherapy class where you will learn more information about rehabilitation exercises.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
The Cardiac Rehabilitiation Program (formerly Brockville Cardiac Program, or BCP) provides rehabilitation services for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac angioplasty or stenting.
Location
The programs is located at the Charles Street main site. We offer 6 and 12 week programs that consist of exercise, education and counselling to help with your post-operative journey to recovery. You can participate in these programs at the hospital or at home. We will provide you with an individualized plan for your recovery.

Our program averages more than 120 graduates per year, with about 50 participants involved at any given time. We take up to 8 new patients per week.
